The travel time on the gondola is approx. 21 minutes and the approx. travel time on the boat is 25 - 30 minutes. This obviously doesn't include wait times (at boat dock or gondola station).

The boats depart approx. every 20 minutes. A gondola departs approx. every 10 seconds.

FWIW....

I am a fast walker. A number of years ago I was curious how fast I could walk from HS to IG. So I walked as fast as I could (but did not run a single step), cutting through the Boardwalk lounge and down the stairs. The result: 14:00.

I'm older now, but have no doubt that I and many others could walk the distance in well under 21 minutes, and in reasonable temperatures, without breaking a sweat!

My guess would be 65%-75% on average, factoring the docking, loading and unloading at the three stops before getting to DHS.

2 years ago we watched the fireworks at HS and left with the crowd, using the walkway to Epcot, we arrived just before Illuminations (stopped at RnC for last call). I would not say we were walking fast, me purposefully, as the hubs was beating my ear the whole time that it was too far to make Illuminations without using the boat.

I'm flying in Saturday and will be at VGF until Wednesday -- and then move to BCV for two nights.

the actual boat ride takes about 20 minutes from when you start moving.

The epcot to CBR is supposed to take about 11 minutes and CBR to DHS is supposed to be about 5 minutes. Wait times at each will obviously depend on how many people are there.

The epcot to CBR is stopping more often than the other legs, so it seems that a lot of people are saying it's taking closer to 15-20 minutes for that leg.
