Default 48 years!

Happy 48th Birthday WDW. Oct. 1, 1971. Was anyone on MO there on that day?

DW and I were there Labor Day weekend, 1972, a year after we were married.
First visit to WDW 1972.
WDW visits - too many to count.
Daughter's Wedding at WDW - 1998
DCL Cruises - 17 and counting. Platinum has it's benefits.

Went in 72, brought my oldest son, stayed at the Contemporary. Have been fortunate to be able to go almost once a year since then. Now since owning DVC have been going a few times a year and taking the extended family which includes my two grandsons and enjoying more than ever!!

Welcome aboard. Not until 1988 for me, but definitely pleased with my 3-4 times a year now. Perhaps even more if I ever move closer.

I didn't go until 1980. Still just MK and the 3 MK resorts, Discovery Island, and River Country.
Oh, and some small "Disney Village" shopping center where DTD is now.

This crowd makes me feel like such a newbie sometimes! My family was never able to make it when I was young. I was there for 1/2 day at Epcot and a full day at MGM with my college band in '96. Our real visits, however, didn't start until a short pre-cruise trip with DW and me in '03 and then our first family trip in '07.
