Default Pre purchased beer for room

Good Morning,

I'm sailing on DCL for the first time this year. We ordered from Disney a 6 pack of beer for the room. I know it says you can't bring your own personal alcohol in a public space, but is that beer purchased from them included with that policy, or would I be allowed to consume that somewhere else on the ship?

TIA!

I don't know the rules, but what lives in a red Solo cup is anyone's guess

Cheers.

The beverages for the room are to be used in the room. Many have decorative or tervis containers - what's in them is unknown.

I've ordered beers to the room and walked all over the boat with them. No one ever said a thing. I think if you brought your own beer and it wasn't a brand they sell on the boat you might have an issue. You should be good to go!

Put anything in a glass and walk around with it, including into the dining room. For all they know you just bought it at the bar.

Iíve bought beer prior and always just pour in a cup or tumbler. Iíve also taken a few beers in ice in a bag to the pool and just pour them in a cup when Iím ready. Same for the run or vodka I manage to sneak on board. Also have brought a bottle of wine on board and go to bar and get two glasses and pour those and take to dinner. Never an issue.

And an entire bottle of wine can fit in a large McDonald's cup.

If you pay for booze on a cruise you’re not doing it right.

I just asked the hubs and you can definitely walk around with the beer - or any other beverage because they are not in glass bottle.
