I got the call this morning that my April 22nd flight at 9:40am was taken out of service and I was put on a 7:00am flight. So magical express at 4:00am

It's not to bad once you know where it is, but a pain to find if you don't.

Found this site that walks you through with screenshots.

The easiest way I have found is to book a new flight, find your flight, then click on the flight number and all the info for the flight pops up.

Thanks. I guess going twice on the same day is better than not going at all!

Better safe then dead.....

Canceling flights because of the "Max" issue is impacting all the airlines. They literally don't have enough planes to cover all the flights of those grounded planes. Southwest has it the worse because their Maintenance Union has been playing dirty on canceling additional flights, making the impact worse for the airline vs the other airlines. They have been dealing with double the amount of cancellations per day then normal because of the union tactics.

SWA is not trying to alienate its clients, they are being squeezed by the Max grounding and the Union's daily "surprise grounding of flights.

All of the airlines have to cancel flights and they automatically rebooked you to the best option from ISP. They have to cancel flights. You can either take the new flights or fly from a different airport. Better to be a bit inconvenienced than dead.

If you're not adverse to yet another app, I use one called FlightView on my phone. Allows me to put in all my flights for a given trip, tells me what type of plane each one is, and the day of travel I can not only see updated information about my flight, but it tells me about the previous flight for my aircraft so I get an early heads up if something is going off that day for my plane.

I fly them all the time and liked what they were doing.

I dumped their stock maybe about 6 months or so ago. They were doing well and then stuff started to really falter. This Boeing mess is likely going to hit their short term. Analysts are saying that they are poised to do well......... once the Union thing, the 800 MAx mess, and the Hawaii route settles in.

We'll see.

best,

..............john
