Default Help! Booking with dual points

I'm confused.

Goal: Book a May, 2019 reservation at BCV

Have: Home resort BCV points - August 2018 UY
Have: Transferred BCV points - Feb 2019 UY
(Transferred points are in same membership as my points)

Since May, 2019 is within BOTH 11 month windows, why can't I use BOTH to complete the reservation?

If no, why?

You can. And it's not that it's within the 11 month window - all UY's have the same 11 month and 7 months. But it can be done because both sets of points that you list are eligible for May 2019 stays.

You will have to call in to use the transferred points. You could start the reservation with your August points and then call to add nights with the transferred.

"In principle" you could enter any time up to closing time, but I don't know what actual practice is. The rides and attractions will generally stop operating by 9 or when the line is exhausted, but you may not be permitted to get in a line near closing time. If you want to enter after 8:45 you may want to have a reason prepared... and I am curious too!

Thank you so much. That's great. The different UY threw me as I've always used transferred points totally separately. This time I have 'leftovers' and enough for 2 of the days. I have 2 memberships but thankfully put these into the BCV membership instead of the Poly membership.

Thanks again. Will call.

Default Dock/land fishing?

I know there are several Disney resorts that offer charter boat fishing. Does anyone know of any resorts that offer either dock or land fishing?
Thanks in advance

POR does. Looks like that's the only dockside fishing location.

Here's a page from the Disney website.

Otherwise there is fishing outside WDW. Pretty sure you can do it at Celebration if you want somewhere really close.

Port orleans Riverside has fishing when I went last year. The fishing was pretty basic as far as equipment they gave you, I'm not sure if you would be able to bring your own.

I *almost* caught a really big fish though

TS Dining: Does anyone know if the 'no walk up accepted' rule has vanished? I've been trying to sneak in a 2nd ADR on our vacations using the 'they don't accept walk up' strategy but he's over it.
