I am interested but only for the right price and right point chart. High point chart I am out. I might add on more at CCV or GFV instead.

I think most hope that Riviera will be Studio heavy to relieve some burden on the 7 month studio availability. However, it is interesting with points rising to possibly $200/pt or more, I think that will preclude most buyers from being able to get enough points for anything but studios. I can't imagine dropping 40-45 K for 200 points. Can't wait to see over the next few years just how much people are willing to pay per point.

At $200 per point, Disney is pricing the average middle class family out of the market. If we had to pay even $150 per point at the time we bought, we would not be DVC members today. The current price per point is insane in my opinion.

$200 sounds fair as long as its $175 with incentives

The wildcard for me on this resort is the gondolas.

If they turn out to be a mini-sauna with the lack of AC, I probably would have zero interest in the resort. If they turn out to be very efficient and comfortable, I would be interested.

I would still prefer to have a walkable resort in any case, so BWV was the winner for the latest add on.

Not interested at these prices, unless I can get a studio for 10 points

Was the average middle class family the market to begin with? Not trying to be mean but I'm not sure that's the type who did buy the most.

True. When I see some of the points being purchased, though, I do wonder sometimes who exactly these owners are. I suppose (high-interest) financing is available, but the idea of dropping $40,000 on more points just makes me . I don't say that in any kind of judgmental manner; it's just a curiosity about the market.
