Patty, if I could serve turkey outside I would. I just don’t think my potatoes and gravy will stay hot 😆 Guess I don’t have pilgrim blood in me. Good idea for the fire pit.
One of our Thanksgiving traditions is to decorate a gingerbread house after the meal. I was canning that idea this year until I walked into Joann’s Fabrics last week and spotted a village kit. It makes four small gingerbread houses. We have four grandkids so they can social distance while they decorate their own house. I just need to fill enough frosting tubes and bowls of decorations so they don’t need to share.

Monday, Monday - but its a short week! Taking off Wednesday to get some cooking done for Thursday. Son and DIL will be driving up from NC on Wednesday and staying til Monday morning. Sooo looking forward to it - haven't seen them since February With the PA guidelines they went for a COVID test today even though they both work from home and aren't out with other people.

I can’t believe that my Dad would have been 100 years old today. That’s wild! I put together a slideshow of his life to send to my family. It took me half the morning to find the photos, take pictures of them, edit them, put them in order...the one thing I could not fix was once I did put them in order, I couldn’t get my phone’s photo app to keep them in order. So I just went with it. Also, I learned to change the Live Photos by editing each one to off. That made a big difference. My Dad is the reason we bought DVC, he loved WDW.

Well ten hours later than initially scheduled I was finally able to sign the closing papers with the notary lady. Signed at Longhorn Steakhouse by my hotel since she lives in the area and didn’t have the final paperwork until this evening. Treated her to dinner, pleasant company (nope, she’s not single, haha).


Now on to furniture shopping...
