We all live through rose colored glasses. What do I mean by that? Not every trip or visit to the World is perfect. I probably swear off going after every visit! (I have kids with 1 teen left at home.) In the moment I may get irritated by a bad day, long waits, heat, kids fighting, etc. When I put my glasses on and look back I have the most magical memories. And, so I return - year after year.

You cannot base what would otherwise happen in real life - robbery, car near mishap, etc, on Disney. They tried to make it right with FPs. They didn't have to do that. If you find going so often diminishes the magic, go less often. I go at least twice a year for about 4+ weeks and live in another state and have APs. You don't have to go everyday.

sometimes trips to the World are like child birth. Hectic and stressful while it's going on, but a year later you forget the bad stuff and remember the good stuff.

Honestly, every trip is a new adventure. The learning curve is forever, and for good reason.
Good or bad, a new experience is thrown in every time it seems.
It grows and evolves with each trip. We learn what we like, what we don't and a what the heck let's try something different.
Keep it fresh and enjoy every good and ok moment.
It is a escape from real life. A thrill. Or good old family fun. It just doesn't matter what you hope it to be.
It is Disney after all!

Enjoy the "world"
As you are experiencing life, it is too short to dwell on the negative so look at the next trip as a new adventure in people watching.
Remember the journey is as important as the destination.

Not for us. Every trip has been at least very good, most great. Never stressful, but sometimes hectic by choice. It's a vacation, and we treat it as such. No more, no less.

Cheers.

Our biggest stress is leaving... my last trip I suffered from post traumatic Disney syndrome for 2 months.

That I get. We just did our longest ever trip there (4 nights). The extra night/day was well worth it and made leaving less traumatic.

Cheers.
