Ditto.

I think the gondolas will be a great addition to help with transportation situation...but.
I just wish it didnít end at IG entrance, but rather it had been inside the park.

We just will have to wait and see. I just keep hoping my fears are wrong.

THAT would have been such a cool idea!

I actually think they're doing a decent job of getting the structure to blend in architecturally with France, with the Art Nouveau stylings an all. But yes, would much prefer not to have IG entrance get bottlenecked. *sobs* at what will become of my beloved IG entrance and that quiet GS area.

On my recent trip I took a look at the new security setup at DHS in relation to the skyliner there. I'd heard that the DHS station was in a spot that couldn't work and that's why the gondolas will ultimately stay outside security.

Now while it seems like they will be outside the security bubble right now, they could easily change this at DHS with some fencing to make it so to allow the skyliner guests to bypass the security gates. Same for the IG, they could move the security checkpoint out further if they chose to.

Whether they do this or not moving forward who knows, but it's definitely an option.

I've posted before about the trams they used to run from the resorts to the IG. It wasn't always quite as quiet as it has been in recent years. And I always missed the trams.

At 7-8 minute for the longest leg, there's probably enough time only for the guys to make it to the skyliner club.

Better be primed and ready to go. Consider the queue to be foreplay.

Not to be a downer but we just returned from the IG and the walls are not down, everything is still totally covered. Well some actual wall is down but is screened by movable shrubbery. Looking through the cracks it looks complete except for a large amount of muddy dirt that needs landscaping/finishing work.

Agreed. [Eyore] Doom. Gloom [/Eyore].

And I'm not disagreeing or making fun with the above. I've posted this same sentiment before and it's been suggested to "see what happens." But I still am not happy.

Cheers.

Wait, this is about more than just the guy? Suddenly a number of comments from my past make more sense now...

I think we should have a thread for people who have christened car #X.

Cheers.
