Default Ratatouille ride opening date moved earlier...

Don't get over excited...it seems to now be April 2020. I have watched the Yotube videos of this ride, and the whole family is excited for this to open!

I think April 2020 seems quick. When was it supposed to open?

If this is the same ride as in DLP, I wasnít impressed. The 3D wasnít very good and it didnít do much except move from scene to scene. I think I was expecting more given the hype about the one in DLP.

I wasnít tremendously impressed with the Parisian version either, though did find it to be a cute plus, so Iím sure it will turn into an attraction I typically visit while at Epcot. Plus English instead of French will most definitely help.

The DLP version is indeed far from an Eticket. It's an odd a mix of Universal "we can solve everything with giant screens" while being moved around in a thing that looks like an old bumper car.

The area around it was delightfully well themed. And the regional food carts nearby were a hoot. (I wonder if there will be a escargot cart in Epcot?)

In short, it's on par with Three Caballeros & Maelstrom as a minor ride within an Epcot pavilion. Definitely a welcome addition, but it's not Toy Story Land.

Iím so disappointed that folks are reporting the Paris version as less than stellar. Iím a wuss, and get motion sick on big coasters and such, so many of the latest and greatest rides will be off limits for me. So I wonít be riding the new coaster at Epcot, and the latest version of Mission Space Green has been made totally missable now. I was really hoping that the new Remy ride would be great. So sad.

Remember that everyone has their own opinion and what one person may not care for, another person may LOVE! I hear peoples opinions, but I focus on making my own. I have faith!

We loved Ratatouille in DLP. Sure, it was not a thrill ride, but it was fun and we laughed for most of the ride. We are delighted it is coming to Epcot.

To each his own.
