Default Norwegian flash sale. (airline- not cruise line)

Norwegian is having a flash sale today for Sept-Nov bookings. Included cities are Madrid (I'm considering this and a trip to Barcelona) Rome, Oslo, Amsterdam, and London.

The flight I'm looking at is JFK to Madrid in premium economy. Total all in is $419.

Perhaps you ought to consider an alternative:

Yes, lots of rumors about Norwegian, but they've been floating around for a while now. I'd book them for something that was coming up soon. I haven't, however, booked Madrid. I'm trying so hard to be responsible.

Norwegian Air International (NAI) is a dirtbag operation whose sole purpose is to subvert international labor laws.

Enjoyed our flight to London on Norwegian 2 years ago so booked again. We leave Wednesday. Got an email a week ago that they have contracted out the Orlando- London route to a third party for the entire summer due to the 737 Max issues and the Rolls Royce engine issues. The third party carrier is not one I've heard of because they only do 'wet leases'. That's where the airline books the plane, crew, fuel, etc. The reviews on this company have been better recently than they were last year and the aircraft is safe and maintained well.

Because the flight is still scheduled, we cannot cancel or change our flight without penalty.

We were really disappointed that this happened and it really jacked up our seat reservations. I kept checking back, giving people time to make changes and finally got us all together again.

It's shaken my confidence in Norwegian and I'm honestly not sure if I'd book them again or not. I'll let you know on Thursday.

Susan, thanks for that.

I'd been up in the air about booking Madrid in October, but I'm going to be a grown up instead. We've got the DCL TA next year as well as St John and Italy in 2021 so I need to put up some cash.

I can't wait to hear about your trip though!

Wow! I need you to adopt me!!

We're pretty excited. We're taking kids/spouses before grand babes come along.

Starting in London and then heading to Scotland. We'll be there 12 days.

Tammy, flights were fine with contractor. The only difference we noted was the onboard entertainment wasn't as varied as Norwegian. I'd heard these guys had a hard time getting flights off the ground on time and we found that to be true with both our flight over and our flight back. We were an hour late leaving London. It didn't effect us as I deliberately gave us extended lay overs to tour the city on the way over and stay at WDW on the return.

Otherwise, no complaints here.

I didn't buy the madrid tickets but I'll 100% buy tickets on them from Barcelona next year after our transatlantic. I hope they can get past the Boeing debacle.

On a side note, I just included the reduced airfare for our Hawaiian Cruise with NCL. From BWI, $399/pp round trip for first two passengers. We took it!!
