![]() we have stayed at the atlantis. The main hotel. we had a good time but not enough to go back. We do like the sandals there. More intimate and less glitz. Bahamar is also a little too much for us but we just did a day visit. The new Margaritaville hotel there has caught my eye.

I highly recommend USVI St John. Not sure what vacationers will find now during COVD.... |

We went to USVI St John last summer and it was fantastic, as usual. Atlantis has a lot of things/attractions open, but is running on a modified schedule......half the water park/pools open every other day. Not all the towers are open. Not all the restaurants are open. But the experience is still not bad, from what I read. Nothing is open anywhere that is not impacted by covid restrictions.

![]() In 2019 we went to Atlantis for 7 nights. We stayed at “The Cove”. Our suite was beautiful but honestly we really did not like the overall resort. It felt like a Vagas style resort/casino plopped on an island. To try and escape a bit we rented a very pricey Cabana where one side opened to the beach and the other the pool. Very cool setup. That is until a DJ started pumping dance music poolside around noon. It just was not our overall vibe we shoot for in the islands. Additionally, we are foodies and found the food and beverages super expensive and we didn’t have a single meal we felt was anything special. We wont be back to Atlantis but are in the process of booking a trip to Bermuda... our favorite island by far.

I do agree with the Vegas vibe at Atlantis. Which is why I suggested USVI......true island paradise.
