Actually, per the rules and regulations DVC requires you to use a contract. They won't check though. What I think it's best for is to outline what is being rented and a few of the expectations so that both parties are on the same page as much as possible.

We found a contract template and will use that one. I also think it's best to, at least, have everything spelled out.

Default Renting points

From the perspective of the rentor, I would say ,I am the vulnerable party. I use PayPal, hopefully, when I arrive at my Disney resort, my reservation is there. Thankfully, ,I have been renting for years with wonderful people on this board.
