Default 5 Reasons to Stay at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort

By the end of 2019, the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) will feature 15 different resorts. Out of these properties, 80 percent of them are close to Disney theme parks. Today, let’s discuss one of the three DVC resorts located far away from a Disney theme park. Specifically, let’s talk about the one that tends to fly under the radar a bit, the property that I would describe as the hidden gem of the DVC lineup. Here are five reasons why you should visit Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort: https://www.resalesdvc.com/five-reas...island-resort/

What do you think? Have you stayed at Hilton Head?

Oh my gosh! I love Hilton Head. I know some people prefer a beach front resort over the beach house that Disney offers, but I just love the HHI resort and the beach club. It's so nice to have the beach club for food, water, fresh towels, bathrooms, lockers in the bathrooms for personal items you might not want to take on the beach, and if you have to work on vacation, they have an A/C room for sitting in to take a conference call or send email. Additionally, the Cast Members at HHI really are some of the best in the network.

I honestly can't speak highly enough of this resort. I love HHI and return annually for two weeks around the 4th of July with my BFF.

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is by far our favorite DVC resort. We just came back from 11 glorious nights there, and wish we could have stayed longer. It's so relaxing-very different from WDW-and very rejuvenating!

We visited several years ago and loved it. We’ve meant to get back but it just hasn’t worked out. Hopefully 2019 will change that!

My wife and kids are HUGE beach fans, but we don’t go to HHI for that. We LOVE the resort. It is such a beautiful setting with some of the nicest CMs you will ever find. We go every year, and I hope that continues well into my retirement!

HHI is on our list of resorts to stay at.

We absolutely love Vero Beach resort and I've seriously considered opening my wallet for points there.

Is HHI entertaining for young children (9yo and 6yo)?

That is why we originally chose Vero over Hilton Head when the kids were 5yo & 2yo. Hilton Head just "felt" more suited for older kids.

Upcoming Trips:

May 2019 Disney's Vero Beach
October 2020 - Disney World (details fuzzy)
