Default Disney+ Founders Circle for D23 Members

Link: https://d23.com/special-disney-plus-...xpo-attendees/

Snippet:
Later this week at D23 Expo 2019 in Anaheim, California, attendees will get the opportunity to be the first to subscribe to Disney+ with a special “Founders Circle” offer, granting $23 off per year with a three-year commitment, averaging out to be 33 percent off the standard annual price. As an added bonus, they will receive an exclusive “Founders Circle” pin (exclusively at D23 Expo, while supplies last). The offer is open to all D23 Expo guests for a limited period during the D23 Expo (August 22–25); it will be available online from August 26 through September 2 exclusively for D23 Members. Valid for US residents with US payment method only.

==========

So, today is 8/26, opening the sign-up window for D23 Members who, for various reasons, were not attending the Expo. How do we sign up?

Answer: Log into the D23 website and click on "My Account \ View Account." The special sign-up offer is presented at the top of your Account Information page.

Very nice! Thanks for posting. Was just looking briefly before and didn't notice a link right away so didn't bother signing up yet. Shame they don't discount the Disney+/ESPN/Hulu bundle by the same amount, I probably should hold off and sign up for that instead...

Anyone know if you pay for the three years upfront or is it monthly over the three years?

Most likely, upfront.

Payment is upfront (one lump sum for 3 years). The fine print informs you that the subscription will be renewed, automatically, at the prevailing rate once the 3 year offer expires unless you take action to cancel.

Payment is via Credit Card or PayPal.

Edited to add: Other sites are reporting that the 'free' D23 level also has a special 3-year subscription rate at slightly higher costs. If you don't already have a D23 Gold membership, the Complimentary level might be sufficient to score some Disney+ savings!

I have the free D23 membership and can't find anything regarding a special subscription offer at d23.com.

I only have the free general membership and do have the offer. It's the same price you quoted above.

What is the rate?

I heard there would be a rate for AP holders and Disney Visa card holders as well, I think it was $170 for 3 years?
