![]() Late Friday night my son received flight cancellation from SW for Monday flight to Las Vegas (March Madness ).... he needed to find different flight but everything Sold Out for Monday. so booked Sunday first flight out and added on another hotel night and left at 4:30 am to drive to airport and park car since “Mom” refused to drive him... I wonder if many travelers are trying to fly standby or is it normally crowded this early on Sundays.
Has anybody else been required to make changes due to Boeing? Fortunately he is flexible but what an aggravation for families trying to rearrange. |

![]() He had purchased SW early check in on original ticket but got C-1....
Just went to gate to purchase upgrade and SW attendant said flight is Full Flight but purchased A-6 So full flight must be different than sold out and A7- A14 still available for more money. |

![]() Spring break travel + the grounding of planes = lots of travelers needing new flights.
I sure hope that this mess gets worked out soon.

![]() Just flew back yesterday. Oddly seemed not as crowded as I expected though our flight was full. No issues for us last week either coming or going. All of our flights originally were scheduled on 737-700 planes. Less than 5% of SW flights used the MAX8.
As an FYI A1-15 or so are always for the business select or those who pay more.

![]() I am aware the A1-A15 is Business Class but seems odd a person can purchase A-1 thru A15 if flight is Full so I was just mentioning difference between Full and Sold Out....
Anyway plane had to pull back into gate for mechanical problem and a gauge had to be replaced... |

![]() It seems more than bad luck to receive an email at almost midnight 2 days before actual flight that cancel due to This issue and immediately start looking for flight for same day and discover the entire Monday is Sold Out so now he has to book a different day and rearrage hotel adding to his cost. And then plane has delay due to mechanical problem .
Flight has not landed yet |

AA did not have enough of them to make a significant impact. I don't think WN did, but don't recall the numbers. We fly on Friday & Sunday, but no 737 MAX to remove. Quote:
Cheers.
