In case anyone was secretly toying with the idea of getting this puzzle- I was going to show it to a friend at work today and it was no longer on Disney's site, but I did find it on Amazon for 'only' $380.

I would assemble it in sections, and I was thinking of using the ping pong table

Exactly what I was thinking!

Ooo, very interesting! We love puzzles and can finish a 1000 piece puzzle in a few weekends.

Maybe this puzzle comes in 10 bags. I see there are 10 scenes. That way you can put it together a section at a time.

It's just Disney being passive-aggressive.

They got too frustrated with everyone always (rightfully) complaining about how long it takes them to build anything, so they created this insane jigsaw puzzle.

It would've been better if it was a puzzle of everything under construction and they offered a prize for anyone that completed the puzzle before they completed construction

40,320 pieces...

22 feet wide...

6 feet tall...

$599.99

How long do you think it would take to put together?

Bored at work, so I ran the calculation...

I'm very slow at puzzles, so estimating 6 pieces per hour-
40320/6 = 6720 hours.
If I spent 2 hours each weeknight and 4 hours each on Saturday and Sunday working on it per week it would take 373.33 weeks =
7 years, 2 months and 5 days.

If my DW, DD, DS worked on it together without me... they probably could complete it over a 3 day weekend.
