Should be a good sea trial for us . If we hate it ......its only 3 nights ! lol . If we love it ......well time to look for a longer cruise next time.
We're doing that same cruise. It will be our 9th DCL. The last 7 have been without our children.

Wow ... great itinerary ... almost having a DVC Resort for camping out at Castaway Cay

You might be surprised with special fun!
I hope you both post trip reports or live blog .

That's exactly how we felt - the first cruise was so 'busy' and confusing for us because we'd never cruised. It was our second cruise that really 'sucked us in'. Luckily for you the Placeholder has been rendered moot so that takes any urgency to re-book off the table.

How so? As far as I know, you still get a discount to re-book while on board. Might even be an additional OBC? I believe you can reschedule your cruise one time before the benefits go away.

The Placeholder still offers the 10%. The OBC has been eliminated.

If Costco or BJ's travel is used the purchaser receives a $600 to $800 Club GC for use at the club. I guess if you used the Placeholder for the Panama Canal cruise it would be worth it but for the general 3 to 7 days cruises the Clubs offer a high savings.
