Default Top of the World Views

Is it possible to see any views of the parades at the Magic Kingdom from the Top of the World lounge at BLT? I've seen fireworks there, and was thinking it was possible to see bits of the parade, but not sure if memory serves me!

Bring a telescope?

I'm not sure the yield on any glimpse of a parade is going to be very high.

Unless we are talking EWP - this you can see.

I would say not a chance. Though the aforementioned Electrical Water Pageant you can certainly see.

Gosh, I don't think you can see much of main street from there. Fireworks and the EWP are all I would count on.

You can tell a parade is going on, but the buildings get in the way of any street view. I've had a 600mm lens at BLT and you can't see a parade even with that.

Darn those buildings! Donít they know that you are trying to see a parade from half a mile away?

Disney is working on a way that you can't see fireworks from outside the park. After all, why should you get a free view?

Thatís going to make those theme park view rooms less valuable...

With my eye sight I can barely see the Castle

Seriously, the first time we stayed at Bay Lake I was underwhelmed whereas the first stay at Polynesian "M" building I was thrilled (gazing over Bali type buildings and water vs. a 'mommy-van' filled parking lot ).

We didn't buy MNSSHP tickets this year, so we'll watch those fireworks from Top of the Lounge. Was hoping for a peek at the parade, but guess I won't even bother with some binoculars!

It's our first time staying at BLT, any other recommendations on our stay while there? We have lake view. Only there for 3 nights before we move to BWV.
