We have only been once for three nights. Almost made it a second time, but had to cancel and Vero closed for Hurricane Matthew a few years ago.

We ate at Squid Lips, Mulligan's and Citrus Grill. Would go back to all three.

Enjoy!

In my opinion, there is plenty of food nearby as long as you have a car. We aren't walking from the resort to restaurants.

We fly into MCO and rent a car to get to Vero.

There are several grocery stores (we usually stop at the Publix) and plan most meals to cook/eat in the room (1 BR). However, we also plan to eat out several times.

We have eaten at Mulligan's in Sabstian. We are from the northern midwest and like to find fresh local seafood when traveling to Vero. During our next trip (this weekend!) we also plan on eating at the Ocean Grille which has good online reviews.

Went for a long weekend last spring.

Night 1: Ate a the onsite restaurant.
Night 2: In Vero Beach, enjoyed casual oceanside dining at Waldos then walked to Countryside Citrus for an orange softserve.
Night 3: Mulligan's in Sebastian.
