Default Walt Disney World...A Place To Come To Your Senses - Live Trip Report

Greg and Matt: June 11th
Walt Disney World: A Place To Come To Your Senses’ – Live Trip Report

I would like to take this time to introduce myself as our “Captain of the Senses’ “ for the next three days! My name is Greg and I find myself one of those lucky few who are able to discuss the finer details of Disney all day long while working for David’s Vacation Club Rentals as a Vacation Coordinator!
The main focus of this trip report over the next week will be how Disney…and Disney World especially, make every effort to engage all of your senses, while engrossing you in the world of Fantasy and Magic…Don’t believe me, just ask my friend here…

Starting off, as we entered the main “hub” of the airport in Orlando (MCO), you were almost immediately reminded that the most magical place on earth is just a hop skip and a jump away!

The play on words and general enjoyment a sign like this brings is unexplainable in the spoken or written form. You immediately are enamored with excitement as you realize “EarPort” is a delightful little pun! If that wasn’t enough to get you right in the mood for some Disney Magic, just around the corner is your very first photo Opp…

After going down the stairs to level B (where you will find Disney’s Magical Express), after a little jaunt down the Isle you are greeted with your first real life Disney Cast Members!

As you can see, these Cast Members are hard at work making sure both your luggage, as well as your persons are on the right track to making memories that will last a life time…this does not always leave time for posing for pictures 😉.
After a quick ride over on the Magical Express to our Home for the next 6 days, Bay Lake Tower, we were greeted with the fresh scent of green clover and aloe, which, is so relaxing you almost feel as if you are a walking sunburn that has stepped into a gorge of soothing Aloe Vera “after burn”! Between the first images you encounter when entering your Home away from home (Ie. Disney’s Bay Lake Tower);

As well as being welcomed by the most helpful Cast Members, Ie. The wonderful and magnificent Keith,

Sorry Keith fans, he was too focused on making sure all the guests were fully content, he had no time to stop and pose for my photos, which is why we are all blessed with an action shot of a Disney Cast Member hard at work!!
Before I leave you all for the night, I have a little Disney Trivia for y’all; At the Contemporary, which is basically the “General Store” when staying at Bay Lake Tower, who is the special guest who announces the floor you are on when exiting the elevator???

Also, as I am nothing but fair ;P, bonus points will go to the person who can tell me which floor I will connect to at Bay Lake Tower when leaving the elevator pictured above and walking across the SkyBridge!!!
Stay tuned for more Disney Magic to overwhelm your senses’ as we tour the other DVC Resorts as well as…wait for it…THE THEME PARKS! So keep an eye (and ear…and nose) open to all the sensory stimulations that Disney World and the Deluxe Resorts have to offer!

I am looking forward to your report!

I believe the sky bridge is on level five of BLT, but I am not 100% sure about that.

I believe the voice in the elevator is Jiminy Cricket.

The Grand Canyon Concourse is Floor 4 of the Contemporary and the Skybridge connects to Floor 5 of BLT.

Wait a minute.... the "Keith" picture is at BLT (there are no glass windows behind CMs at the Contemporary). I'm confused that you took the Contemporary elevator to BLT during check-in. ...or am I reading something wrong?
If you're at the "general store", there's no need to take an elevator.
