OK, Now double that cost.

Pretty sure the amount being suggested in the survey was $1000 per person for the 2 night stay. That would be all inclusive of meals, but presumably not alcoholic beverages. And entertainment, of course.

Would you pay that?

As I've said, DH has literally said "whatever the cost, I want to do this once". So my answer's yes! But it's not really my answer, if you know what I mean. I think he's seeing this as being what we'd have to pay for accomodation if we weren't DVC. It's actually less than 2 weeks at a deluxe, except this is for 2 days, for the 4 of us.

(nervous laughter).

If this is including meals, then $500 pp, per night is too low. The Grand Floridian Club Level is $575 pp, per night and there is no full immersion.

Would the GF not be per room? Or is the room $1150 per night?

My DH, DD, DS all pretty much of that mindset as well. I'm sure we will try it once.
