We changed our trip to 12/28-1/4 and have been watching flights. Finally booked this week as we saw the prices rising. Wanted a specific flight both ways so decided not to wait.

Tuesday of t-day week til Tuesday of the following week is the cheapest dates to fly. Tickets are usually cheapest about 4 months out but this year is not going to be normal due to Post-Covid-Vaccination rebound travel.
