That looks gorgeous! thanks for sharing the great TR. Sounds like a wonderful time. Splash gave us issues one day too, We'd gotten to the lines to load the boats, and then it all shut down, and folks had to leave/be taken off. Bummer for those who'd just loaded. Big school group too in the regular lines, so no idea if they got to have another shot at it. We did get FPs that DH and kids ended up using on Space later in the trip, and then they forgot to take them , so they got to ride again.
Sounds like weather was awesome. Not too hot or rainy. Good times and great memories to be sure.
Good to hear about that resort, great customer service, and all about it. Hope to try it sooner or later.

Loved your trip report and the pictures are wonderful. I was only able to get one CCV night for an early December trip but hoping wait list comes through (doubt it however). Yesterday, out of the blue, I received a call from my Guide's 'Assistant" (as she called herself) asking if wanted to purchase CCV and get the 'free' (ha) 2017 points as my UY is August. I told her I adore Wilderness Lodge and probably very much like CCV but almost sure I prefer the quiet Boulder Ridge part where I've stayed several times but, in any case, not ready to add on.

Sorry about all your breakdowns. Odd thing: Out of literally 40+ years of Disney trips, I've had like 2 rides break down and only recently via email. We have never, ever had a monorail problem.

My (adult) DD is so hoping she will be stuck on a ride and get to see the inner workings while being escorted down. I think I will pass on that dream.

Again, enjoyed your report.

Your Kate Spade (sorry about that announcement) cross body is delightful.

We got walked off of Little Mermaid once a few years ago. It probably wasn't a good one to get walked off of because we didn't see much.

If Space Mountain is ever down while your DD is there tell her to hop on The People Mover. They turn the lights on inside Space Mountain when they work on it and you get to see a lot of the track.

I realize I didn't say about our dining. We did Whispering Canyon Cafe twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch on our last day. The guys all seemed interested in the skillet so we went there. My son who is 10 opted for just a burger off of the kid's menu though. He often still gets kids meals or shares with me and we have no issues with that.

We did Skipper Canteen to rave reviews and then Spice Road as well is a standing favorite.

Geyser Point is outstanding!!! Their Bison burger was I think my husband's favorite meal. Roaring Fork is just fine for QS. I appreciate the options in general.

We also had a meal at Les Halles in France which never fails to please.

The Plaza was one of our other sit downs and it was quality. The chef went above and beyond for my onion issue.

We tried mobile ordering once at Satuli Canteen. Only issue was I forgot the rice had onion in it and you cannot order that online that way. So we'll have to figure that out. They have "allergy rice" which is nice but not an option online.

The other 2 QS meals we had we didn't do mobile ordering. Once because MDE was down. The other was because there was no line so no need.

Bummer for those kids. I do hope they got on eventually. For us, we hoped but if we didn't make it we know we can go back. My son is now thrilled with Space Mt. and likely would have been thrilled to ride that over and over again too LOL

Weather was good. There were rainy times, but nothing got in our way too much. I swear some days I didn't see any rain at all either. One of the days we had to leave the pool for lightning but no rain. Still over all good and better than our last trips (TS one year and cooler and rainy all day a couple days last year)

Yeah that announcement was kind of a bummer. I like KS bags, though I know she didn't have much to do with it. It was nice to find an option for my cell phone though since my pockets aren't big enough. I assume all holster types for cell phones are waved through too!

The kitty face on it was just a cute touch and got compliments on it

I got a call in March or April from my guide's assistant too about adding on. We didn't have the roof repair yet but we did just add on last year. When we're ready we'll run numbers to see if resale or direct is worth it. I actually liked CCV a little more than BRV, but it's about the theme for me.

I've been walked off a few rides now. Splash, Test Track, Pooh, and now Imagination. I think that's all of them. Most of the time they get the ride started up.

I've seen Space Mt. down from the people mover - that's really cool and makes for great pictures. Journey wasn't near as interesting.

We just got back late last night (thanks to a delay due to hail and severe thunderstorms) staying a week in a 2 bedroom at Copper Creek and had a great trip. Over all the weather was relatively typical for FL. Not a whole lot of rain that got in our way, and pretty much all was in the afternoon/evening when we are more laid back. Some days it was just simply beautiful all day long. Sadly our last night we got rained out of the campfire. Otherwise not getting on Test Track one day, it didn't interfere at all.

We arrived June 1st and yet again on text/e-mail even though we did online check in. As soon as she pulled up our information and told us our room was ready, I got the text and e-mail saying our room was ready. So something in the system isn't great.

We went to Epcot and sure enough we were the only ones in line at Guest Services. We activated our APs and got the DAS. This time it wasn't an issue at all and she didn't even ask. She saw I had had it before, but at least the lady from last year left no mean notes.

We had a minor issue with the room discussed here

To add to that, they offered us full housekeeping for the rest of the week, and after a day of it, we told the housekeeper we really didn't need it. So a manager came in and made sure all was well. Seriously above and beyond service. We told them that it just really wasn't necessary because nature caused some egg to fall onto our balcony. It wasn't a big deal at all.

We had more issues with MDE app this trip than before. As reported here one morning everyone was locked out of logging in. I would say it was about 2 hours before it was fixed. Yesterday we couldn't make an ADR for a last minute meal, and wound up calling MS to get it booked.

The bigger issue with MDE not working is while I might make plans, I never really stick to them. I cancel and move along as needed.

We had a bad day at MK with rides breaking down on Thursday. All week long (starting from Saturday) we tried to get into the Tiki Room and it was either down or Josť wouldn't wake up. Finally got on it after trying a few times on Thursday. We must have stopped by 6 times that trip (MDE never showed a wait when running or that it was down when it was). Splash Mountain seemed to have a lot of issues too. Almost messed with our "Mountain morning" we had in mind.

We also got stuck on Journey and had to be walked off yesterday. For the first time ever we got digital fast passes as an apology. We wound up not using them

Boat transportation was spot on all week. Never had to wait very long for a boat. Monorail had issues on the resort line once. We wanted to stop at the resorts and literally just missed a train only to wait 20 minutes for the next.

Buses were hit or miss for us. At Epcot one day it took 30+ minutes for us to be picked up (we saw the bus drive away). One morning we also literally saw 2 AK buses in a row come in twice and then another in the time when Epcot bus was supposed to come. That one was a 25 minute wait. The CM watching the buses in the morning was hit or miss being there. In the morning going to parks we did not share, but on the way back mid-day we did.

We were in room 5120. I absolutely loved this location. We were right by the elevator and a corner room. We heard very little from the people above us and nothing from our side neighbors. I loved our view as well. If I were to come back here (it seems the family loved it) we would request the room again.

Here is a panoramic view from our room that google stitched together for me.

We did the WL tour they offered certain days at 9am and loved every minute of it. Also did the Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt.

Only negative for me is how little seating there is at the main pool. My son wanted to do the pool party, and we almost couldn't find a chair. After it was done, we went over the the BR pool. Much nicer IMO.

Working on getting our Photopass Photos for fun shares, but here is a link to the album with room views, kitchen pics, and bath pics for those who requested them. Please keep in mind our stuff was in those

https://imgur.com/a/XvUDw9K

Over all it was a great trip. Very few negatives for us as a whole and a lot of happy and kind service. I'm working on writing up an e-mail today to DVC about how great the service is there and how well they did with the trash service. We never were disturbed when the room occupied sign was up and that was appreciated.
So glad you enjoyed it, hope dad found it relaxing. Looks great and looks like a galley style kitchen, I would feel at home since I have one. Thanks for providing pics, you are forgiven for no measurements.
Sounds like great customer service.
Love Geyser Point, so relaxing to just..relax.

It was not considered a bag at all since it was only to hold the cell phone. On the days there was little chance of rain we went bagless to the parks and that made security so much nicer.
So thatís not considered a bag of any sort? Hmm, not towards you but seriously the bad actor could do something with that.
Very pretty, I like. So sad about KS. Someone admired my sunglasses the other day and I realized they were KS. Her name was not emblazoned anywhere on it which is why I liked it. Her branding onpurses and wallets were more of a crest and not noticeable except to those who could spot designer items. Which is why I liked her things. It was about the look vs having a name all over. I like Rebecca Minkoff for that reason too. Nice leather those who know her style know it but no screaming names.

I got into the room and looked in the master bed/bath and thought "Thank goodness I cannot measure this" So many nooks and crannies s

The galley style kitchen is a bit narrow compared to the one we have, but we're used to it at home as well.

As for the cell case, they would ask to see the cell phone come out a little. One security in the no-bag check line asked to squeeze it. Most asked me to take out the cell and put it back. So would be hard to hide things, unlike that MK crinkle bag... that was a little more roomy. This literally holds my phone and that's it. I cannot even squeeze a credit card with it. It's really just a holster with a strap.

All of my sunglasses are KS as well. They just fit my face right as they are usually on the smaller side (I fit into kid size hats vs adults) I like Rebecca Minkoff too though lately it has a bit too much metal accents on the bags, but I'm sure that will change as time goes on. I did look at this one for my cell phone but decided on the KS because of the material being more durable
https://www.amazon.com/Rebecca-Minko.../dp/B01N7DOC88

Anyway it does work well and like a holster for a cell phone they let you through. Worked at every park, every single time. Now I just need to find ponchos we can shove in my husband's pockets for the 3 of us and I'll be golden

So I had a cold upon return and have been slow at going through everything. We love to try to pose for the ride pictures. It's become a thing for us really. Here are a couple of them. Let me tell you doing bunny ears on the Mine Train isn't as easy as it might seem

Yes, I'm wearing a winter hat in that picture. We were in Canada and saw these hats and thought they'd be perfect for me since I hate the cold here in the midwest. I have a smaller than average head and this one actually fit.

Sometimes details are everything at Disney. Here are some of the books from the Jungle Canteen

We saw the same thing with the AK buses. We got 3 one morning at the resort before a HS one finally showed up. Glad to hear the boats went well for y'all. That seems like it'd be a pleasant ride to and from MK. How would you rate the transportation compared to the other places y'all have stayed? We really like the options at Poly, but would like to venture out to new places too.

Having just dined at Skipper Canteen also, I'm wondering how your service was. Our server kept asking us about ordering (expensive) drinks. Once we made it clear that we were fine without them, her presence was sporadic at best. And when I asked for a to-go cup for my wife's coke, she gave us a coffee cup. It was obnoxiously small. We also came back from the bathroom at one point and found a tray of silverware and napkins on one of our chairs. The food was really good, though.

Thanks for the reviews on the restaurants. Those all sound good. We used Mobile Ordering once at a busy HS restaurant; it was a great convenience. The only downside was we couldn't use a gift card.

Also, that view! I can certainly see the draw to add-on there. It's beautiful. Glad to hear you had a good trip.

Oh, and I'll give you a pass on the measurements too. The true size of the rooms will just have to remain a mystery.
