We used it once thought it was nice. With a 25% increase I think it is excessive.

Is a regular cab from resort to resort all that bad? We took a cab from VWL to Magic Kingdom for $10 ( 2 adults in cab) plus tip. This was 3 years ago.

Yeah. Backstage to backstage would be very nice.

Cabs in Disney seem to run about double what Uber costs. So BRV to MK with Uber would be about $5.

Minnie vans are best used to go resort to resort. Particularly from MK area to Epcot or AKV.

Yes, and theyd actually have a worthy advantage over regular Lyft/Uber.

Wow. That was a jump. We have used both MV and Lyft/Uber. The drop off/pick up locations can be better with MV but as others have said, a typical trip plus a $5 tip will be $10 less.

We always just use regular Uber and have never seen the need to pay more for the Minnievan. I've recommended to friends taking their daughter on her first trip in May as they need a child seat, but wondering if Uber can do the baby seat.

The Minnie Vans are owned and operated by Disney on property and driven by Disney employees. I would think families with children should keep this in mind in case accident occurs... Doesn't anybody use the regular bus transport anymore? What happened to Mears Transport?

Anyway seems cruel to announce price increase today on top of everything else.
In a magical world this would mean wishes for salary increase tomorrow morning will magically occur along with the pixie dust.
