Default Least expensive lodging

So, we’re out of points, but airfare is cheap. What’s the least expensive way to book a room on property? Airline package, DVC duscount off of rack rate, or something else?

Depends on kind of room. Deluxe? DVC? Value?

Talking All Sports

All sports, Music is usually cheapest onsite.

If you have military or nurse / doctor, I think swan has a discount. (and for military - shades of green).

You may want to look at vrbo.

Just some ideas, Goldi

Rent from another owner. Lots a great point deals on here all the time. Depending on dates that you're traveling, you may find an owner with low or moderately priced points.

This, and put in Downtown Disney hotel area and name your own price. I definitely have gotten great Disney deals that way.

I agree with this. While it may not be the “cheapest”, it’s pretty great. We rented BCV for a fall trip!

We’re thinking a last-minute April 1-4 trip. We don’t care where we stay, but want to be able to use DME from/to the airport. We’ve never stayed at the values, but that may be the cheapest. To use the DVC discount off rack rate, do I call DVC member services, or the Disney reservation line?

For DVC member rates, call member services and see what is available. I got a sV room at Jambo in April for a little more than 4 hundred. Can't remember the exact price, but it was a substantial savings over the rack rate.

You may be able to rent a studio for under 200 a night but a value is about $125 a night.
