I'd also say just rent, transfer, or bank your points for the year. No need to mess with RCI or Interval. You can go anywhere in the world you don't need to restrict yourself to only these timeshare properties.

Also why is your group not as into Disney? Figure out what they're missing in your vacations. If people are aging up maybe it means more sleeping in, beaches and dining, and less maximizing of park time or stuff like that. I also recommend to spend your points on cool stuff and not maximize stays. Enjoy that Bungalow, Grand Villa, or Star Wars room that you'd never stay at if your focus is on optimizing days or occupancy. Get a 1B when you only need a Studio! A little more space makes everyone feel more comfortable.

Definitely rent out your points and use the cash to pay for whatever you decide to do instead. You’ll have more control over your plans!
