Yeah, it seems they are trying to create some FOMO with the reservation system, but I have to agree with another commenter, I probably wouldn't visit if I was not staying at BLT.

BLT is one of our home resorts and the only one we own direct, so we do stay there a lot and I always enjoyed the lunge in the past...it was a nice getaway and a great place to watch the fireworks!

I wonder if the popularity is just that it's newly re-opened. From what I understand, it was always popular at fireworks time (we never went then). Other times, when we did go, it was very quiet and empty. Perhaps that will (somewhat) return after the re-newness wears off?

Cheers.

Yep, absolutely.

Didn’t even realize they were open outside of fireworks times…

It was a mixed bag depending during fireworks. The viewing deck was often full but the lounge was hit or miss. I think maybe because people went outside?

I do think FOMO is big and adding a bit more exclusivity always draws people at first at least

Yeah, I'm expecting that it's a lot of FOMO and that non-fireworks times will be easier to get again going forward. Or, at least, hoping for that. Perhaps we'll see in September.

Cheers.

I think I saw that the reservations were available through August 11. I wonder if that is the test phase or just opening them up monthly.
