Default Black Panther

Did any one else think about what a great addition to AK a new land called Walkenda would make? That movie would have been a better basis for rides than Avatatar.

I haven't had the chance to see the movie yet. I'm looking forward to seeing my favorite actress Danai Gurira as Okoye.

They canít with the Marvel-Universal agreement. Otherwise yes, would be a great addition. But keep Pandora as well.

I wondered about this.

Universal can't make any more new rides using Marvel characters because that would require Marvel approval, which Disney wouldn't give. And Universal can't use the movie likenesses or locations, so a Black Panther ride there couldn't be related to the movie.

And I don't care what it would cost to buy the future rights back from Universal, but it would be worth it just to put a Wakanda area into DAK. They should have done it instead of Pandora.

That's a great idea Sherry! Wakanda would be a great addition to DAK, especially as a gateway offshoot from Africa.

I saw the ovie with my nephew last week. We both thought it was awesome. Nicely self-contained yet still connected to the MCU. The post credit sequences make that even more true.

We watched Thor:Ragnarok over the weekend too. I see why everyone said it had this Guardians of the Galaxy feel to it. Cheeky humor. Yet again it does well to tie it all together.

Infinity War cannot come out soon enough for me. And I dislike superhero stories. I'm told I'm "weird" for being bored with the Incredibles.

I agree. I actually think Black Panther might have been my second favorite Marvel movie, behind GotG. And Killmonger is probably the best villain so far.

Interesting trivia - Ragnarok was about 80% improv. Taika Waititi (who also plays the big CGI Gladiator whose name I forget) wanted that light, almost campy feel so he let the actors come up with most of their own lines. They would just riff on and on and he'd pick out what he liked. It was definitely a fun movie.

Both Black Panther and Ragnarok will play heavily into Infinity War.

You're not alone. The Incredibles is a big ho-hum for me too.
