Last month it was full of cars. We wound up with a Nissan Altima.

Costco/Alamo rocks.

Incidentally, for some reason, booking through Costco kept crashing on me for these dates, so I took the Costco codes from the more expensive reservation and did it straight through the Alamo sites.

Costco still let me book for other trips, so I wonder if I got locked out of those dates for "too many changes" or something? At least I have Alamo's confirmation with all the information.

I rebooked a non Disney trip through Costco 5 times recently with no issues. Just one data point.

Saved $180 over 2 months looking every week or so, I'll have to add autoslash as well to my sites.

Do you have to have a Costco membership for car rentals (I'm assuming yes, but doesn't hurt to ask).

Keep checking your car rental for better prices.
I've neglected doing that, but just checked for an 8-day MCO rental on May 5, Alamo through Southwest.
I saved $150 and upgraded one class!
Thanks! Just checked and re-booked saving $82. Knew to do this but just forgot.

Yes. Granted I have been able to rent using codes on Priceline and such, but usually I book straight from Costco's site.

I just checked 3 trips I have booked through autoslash (WDW starting tomorrow, MSY starting 5/3 and KOA starting 5/25) on CostCo, and autoslash was less in all cases. Definitely worth entering your CostCo reservation into the autoslash tracker...

Cheers.

It's odd, I've tried it a dozen times and it never came up lower. Again I might be picky on my car rentals (I prefer Alamo but will do those onsite... in some cases). Do you have a rental brand you rent from most? I'm seriously curious why this really doesn't seem to be good for me...

I believe that autoslash is now affilianted with (owned by?) Priceline. So the options all seem to be either autoslash direct or Priceline. But they seem to be things that I can't find on Priceline on my own.

I prefer Avis, but will accept Hertz, National, Alamo, Dollar, Thrifty and that ilk. Don't like the Fox-level...the off-airport folks when others are on-airport. No good reason, really.

Cheers.

Hmmm, I must just have good or bad luck depending on how you view it. I'm happy going from $260 down to about $160 on my own for a week in June.
