Agree. But I will gladly trade on in with my PVB points and check it out.

Initial pricing for Riviera features the same $188 per point base price as Copper Creek Villas & Cabins and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas with some attractive early incentives for current owners adding-on.

Points / Member Credit / Cost Per Point

125 / $500 / $184 pp
150 / $1750 / $176 pp
175 / $3150 / $170 pp
250 / $5500 / $166 pp
300 / $6750 / $165.50 pp
1000 / $30,500 / $157.50 pp

These rates are more attractive than current Copper Creek pricing which discounts 250 points by just $11 each.

So, if I buy 1000 points and ask for 10 contracts of 100, think they would give me the 30k discount so I could resell?

They would definitely split it for you, although with each contract comes additional fees, and then you lose fees to brokers, plus these contracts come with much more restrictions than others. Essentially, you'd put up nearly $200k and still probably lose money if you resold and didn't just rent out the points.

Not seeing a Community Hall on that map.

Also, happy to see the Voyageurs' Lounge location is in the lobby and that it truly is a separate lounge from the Bar Riva. Though I am curious to learn more about it.... since they haven't said much about that one.

Same OKW or PVB, don't care. I think we'll try it for next year but not as sold seeing the charts. We actually have a stay at BLT in June and I'm still feeling a little pull to go elsewhere after seeing the charts.

I don't see the CH - never read about it before but that's also a bit disappointing. Especially since they have a specific movie lawn.

This is exactly how I feel I can't wait to try it with some of my cheaper SSR points

The incentives are quite surprising, as they seem to be better than the incentives were when I bought into PVB 2 years ago after it had been on sale for quite a while.

Those maintenance fees are ugly though. I'm curious to ask my guide why they are higher than monorail resorts and higher than AKV. My guess is that they intend to barely raise them over the next two years while every other resort continues to ramp up their increases, but it's shocking to see them so close to HHI.

Big jump from 125 to 150. Effectively $138/point for the 25 points 126-150.

I guess it's nice to be able to bring the cost per point down, but it's still spending a minimum of $23,000 on a set of points. Definitely not happening for me.
