Default Reasons to visit Hilton Head

By the end of 2019, the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) will feature 15 different resorts. Most of them are close to Disney theme parks but there are three beach properties that deserve some attention. Letís talk about the one that tends to fly under the radar a bit, the property that some would describe as the hidden gem of the DVC lineup. Here are five reasons why you should visit Disneyís Hilton Head Island Resort: https://www.resalesdvc.com/five-reas...island-resort/

Have you been? What did you think?

We love the HHI resort. The rooms are large and clean. The CMs are absolutely wonderful. It is very relaxing there and you can feel stress melt away.

Our favorite thing, though, is the beach house. We like to eat lunch there and walk on the beach. Beware of planned pool activities. We have been driven away by the screaming loud megaphones on occasion.

HH has lots of restaurants to try. We frequently eat at Dockside and Poseidon. There is a bagel deli with good sandwiches. The HH Diner is open 24/7 for 3am hunger attacks.

Shelter Cove is located near the center of the island, so you have relatively easy access to anything you want. You definitely will need a car.

Once we stayed at HHI and it was a king tide. We were next to the main building and when we woke up our building was surrounded by water. Water was under the building, too. What a good thing that it was up on stilts. Disney called and offered to get us out but we had food and coffee.

We sat on the balcony and pretended that it was a Polynesian bungalow. They didnít even try to charge us extra points for the ambiance.

The water receded shortly, but we had fun while it lasted.

We have been twice. Very relaxing. Not on the beach but we also enjoy the beach house. So many restaurant choices.

We would love to make this a quick 4 night yearly visit......some day

Going for the first time this summer! So excited!

To those who have been - how necessary do you think it is to have a car? Iíll be coming with my two kids (11 & 7) and meeting my friend with her two kids (5 & 7).

Thanks!
