I am not on the reservation ( changed all the names this morning), but MDE kept me on it and added four out of the five people as my new family members. This did not work for me. My renter linked the room and then a wait list filled for her and she moved to a new room. BUT the old room once I changed the names/email address/phone -- would not release from her MDE. I ended up having to cancel the room. I could not get the room off of her MDE

I know how it was supposed to work... change the names and it drops from MDE... but I have not found it to work that way. Good luck Hope.

I'm in this same situation. MDE wouldn't let me remove myself - only everyone else. So I called MS and she obviously didn't know how to do it either because she told me to leave it alone rather than chance losing the time. I'm suppose to tell my BIL/SIL to just say they're on the reservation.

There's MDE linking and there's the reservation itself. So you're still on the reservation itself and MS couldn't figure out how to remove you? There shouldn't be a situation where your BIL/SIL have to say they are on it when they aren't.

Get on the MDE website, chat, they can fix it right then.

They're on the reservation - I was trying to remove us but I made the reservation so this apparently was the issue. SW changed our flights so we touchdown at MCO 7:55p and the reservations is for 7:20p = no way.

I'll try this - just seems a shame for a server to think they're getting a 4 top and end with a 2.

Oh wait - so a dining reservation and not a room reservation? Unless something has changed all they do is give the last name on the reservation and the time and get checked in. Shouldn't be a problem.

And when they say the number has changed Disney usually looks to move them to a 2 top so nothing really unexpected there for the server. They really don't know what's coming their way anyway until the group is seated. Personally I wouldn't spend another minute on changing anything.
