Sorry, I am over this man and won't ... bother to watch him on TV.
You talking about Kimmel or Iger.

Best selling book all about Disney. Sounds genius to me.

Stocks up, dividends up, most analysts rate Disney stock as a BUY... probable gonna be hard to find a lot of stockholders who feel cheated.

The Iger era is just as defining for Disney as Eisner and Walt.

From the theme park perspective, everyone seems to hate the man's guts, but it's quite possible that without his leadership, Disney could have been swallowed up and broken up by another company.

Nobody will really get a real evaluation of his tenure until some 3rd party (without an axe to grind) writes the book.

At least by the end of his tenure, the company will be in a very strong position, unlike at the end of Eisner's tenure or the tenures of those who succeeded Walt and Roy. That alone is a first for the company.

Buying Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel seemed like good moves. Building a star wars land seemed like a great move. Disney+ seems like another great move.

Maybe even more so than Eisner. The renaissance did happen under Eisner (little mermad, beauty beast, Aladdin, Lion King), in addition, Eisner put everything on VHS and released alot of the vault stuff.

Pixar purchase happened under Iger. Plus he went on to buy Star Wars and Marvel. Instead of VHS, he's doing the Disney+. Plus massive park additions like Star Wars land. Perhaps alot of the bad theme park decisions (cuts) are happening under Bob Chapek and will be fixed if he ever gets the axe.

I agree with Pixar - SW and Marvel seem more like Uni. I've aged out of Disney+

Seems so weird to me the hatred out there for this guy. Disney is killing it these days! Can't wait for all that's to come.
