And we fully well know that the FDA guidelines have been wrong for over 60 years. What else is new

Food pyramid my ass.

what about milk and dairy? Can you consume it normally? Or will it take you out of ketosis?

1 C of 1% milk has 12 carbs so...I don't know what your limit is
but I would think 1 cup a day if in "maintenance" would be okay??

Had weight, measurements and bf% with my trainer this morning. BF down to 20.5% (goal is 18% in maintenance), waist down to 26" (I am 5'7"), hips 34.5", legs smaller, back smaller, maintaining size in arms and shoulders. Overall, I am very happy. Talking about doing a competition this fall - that would change diet quite a bit at 12 weeks out. He is sending me a new meal plan in about a week - we will see if he adds or drops carbs....

Reviving....

I am 4.5 weeks out from my first fitness competition and my coach pulled some carbs. I was at 124g a day and now down to 69g. He knows what he's doing, and I fully trust him.
