I use a program called IrfanView. If do an internet search on the name, you will find it, and can download it for free. I'm not super well versed in using it (DH usually does this stuff for me), but if you open the image with IrfanView and resize it (Ctrl + R) you can play with the size (try 640 x 480) and save the smaller image. From there upload it to Photobucket, and post the resized image on your thread from Photobucket.

See how that works for you.
