I don't have, and don't want, cable TV or NetFlix.

I do have 60+ Disney/Pixar discs.

My only streaming service is Amazon Prime and I only get that for the free shipping. I mostly watch Shawn the Sheep on it.

But I may have to cave on this....

FWIW "Mandalorian" is either a race, nationality, or planet of origin. (e.g. "I am a Terran.") I would bet on the last.

It's a TV series, not a movie. I wasn't much for the animated stuff on Disney either so maybe that's part of it. Disney overkill

The show is based around a group, including the bounty hunter, from the planet Mandelore, so I've read.

Thus, "Mandalorian"

Definitely getting Disney+, so I’ll certainly give this a shot despite only being an extremely casual Star Wars fan.

I guess I need to get over the thought that non-animated Star Wars belongs on the big screen. Instead they're following my more favored Star Trek onto the small screen.

I'm rather annoyed though at the content that is produced for the streaming services and wasn't/isn't otherwise available when you've already paid for the channels thru cable/satellite subscriptions for years and years. I'll adjust as I like the model that allows you to purchase just what you want vs packages with channels I've never tuned to. Still annoyed though like I am with CBS all access. We won't be signing up immediately because of that annoyance. And I'm still working on DH's streaming skills before we get to cord cutting. Also way too much other stuff to catch up on if I'm looking for things to watch.

In preparation for last week's SW:GE AP Preview, we watched all of the Star Wars movies in chronological order. It was really cool to do that and we are glad we did. It really renewed our interest in Star Wars, so we will most likely be signing up for Disney + as well. I also am interested in the "A Day in The Life" that was just announced.

And Mandalorian armor is what this guy and Boba Fett wear.

I did think one of the last scenes where the bounty hunter has all his bounties in carbonite a la Han Solo was cool.
