Very pretty city indeed, Patty. Very true about the language issues, however.

Pizza is good too!

Glad you're having a great vacation Brian!

Welcome home to anyone that is... well... home after not having been home.

I hope Monday wasn't too freaking for anyone

Thanks, Dave!

Bread fan here as well (as you can perhaps tell by my tummy...). Though overall food has been quite good, I must say I’ve been rather unimpressed by the bread thus far... Oh well.

So many rainy days here makes it tough for baseball and softball games schedules. I saw one on Monday. 2 more grandkids to catch their games but the weatherman is not cooperating.

Glad you enjoyed the show, Nancy. Ugh on the weather. An abundance of rain that whole trip here as well.

On the bus to Vienna as I type. We’re fortunately on our own for dinner, let’s see what we can find...

Brian, I know I am too late...but DH went to a place called Centimetres in Vienna. He loved it. They sell beer by the centimetre.

Dave, croissants are very time consuming to make. You have to fold the dough many many times. I have never attempted them. I will be making cinnamon rolls this weekend, DD comes home for a couple of days since it is a long weekend.

Been wanting to try to make them for a while, and finally have all of the ingredients. We'll see how it goes

Ahhh Vienna... land of creme-filled wafer cookies...

The only topic that I can come up with is to ask everyone what I should make for dinner tonight. But then with few people on these days, no one will respond before I get home.
