New RTB Posting Rules (2/2018)

This forum is intended to serve as a "classified ads" or "craigslist" section of the site. MouseOwners.com is not involved in the actual transactions between the parties involved. Consequently, we have no control over the truth or accuracy of the listings or of the abilities of the parties to complete the transactions, and we cannot and will not be held responsible for same.


QUICK, DOWN-AND-DIRTY RTB RULES


1. DO NOT CONTACT THE ADMINISTRATOR about anything related to RTB ads unless you believe that a scam or some sort of points-brokering is taking place.

2. Rental ads [For Rent/Transfer] MUST INCLUDE the following:

• a. Resort and Use Year (e.g., SSR, Aug 2018 UY)
• b. Number of points involved in transaction
• c. Dates of reservation, type of accommodation, and view (if relevant)
• d. Price per point
• e. Total Price (indicate whether including fees)

3. Rental ads MUST NOT INCLUDE the following:

• a. Your email address (including “wanted” ads and responses to same)
• b. Your phone number (including “wanted” ads and responses to same)
• c. More than one reservation
• d. Weekend-weekend reservations
• e. DVC reservations obtained through RCI trades

4. ALL FOR RENT/TRANSFER ADS MUST BE APPROVED. Approval may require
up to 72 hours. If you ad does not appear after this time, you may assume that it has been rejected for rules violations. It is up to you to figure out in what way your ad was unacceptable. DO NOT ASK THE ADMINISTRATOR ABOUT IT. SERIOUSLY.

5. After 72 hours have elapsed, you may try to post a new ad (one which hopefully follows the rules).

6. Re-posting or double-posting of ads (in any forum) is PROHIBITED. You may BUMP your ad once per day instead.

7. Ads must be placed in the correct category. Ads that are not placed in the correct category will be deleted.

8. You must CLOSE YOUR THREAD after your transaction has been completed.

9. “For Rent/Transfer” ads are limited to approximately 10 per year.

10. "For Rent/Transfer" ads may not be edited to allow for additional rentals.

11. All "For Rent/Transfer" ads are deleted after approximately 4 weeks.


REMEMBER: NO EMAIL ADDRESSES OR PHONE NUMBERS IN THE RTB SECTION -- AT ALL!!!!
