Default DVC Special Discount offered by Owners Locker

Saw this on the Members Benefits page. Must be signed in to view and link.

I think this is a great offer for a year and OL is a MO board sponsor.
Just used my locker last month and with the recent amenity cutbacks, it saved the day on many ocassions.

As a Disney Vacation Club® Member you get:

First six months are completely FREE
Second six months are half price - just $5.25 per month
After the first year, the locker is only $10.50 per month
Storage in our climate controlled warehouse
One FREE round trip visit per year
(Additional round trip visits are $27.50 each for your first locker, $13.75 for each additional locker)
A Special Edition blue locker

Thanks for the heads up. I've been interested in this but not sure if it is worth it or not. This seems like a no-brainer for a year to check it out, and then see if I want to keep it going after that. No discounts on the "deluxe" plan, right?

I think I read somewhere that you have to keep it up for 2 years or pay a $50 early cancel fee. So get the deal for year 1 and pay regular price for year 2.

I'll definitely check out all the details. I was thinking about going right to 2 of them, though not sure if they do the deal in multiples. But if it's a 2 year contract that defeats the purpose of a "tryout" discount for me. I'll have to know for sure up front.
