I find the parties to be worthwhile if you get them instead of getting a daily ticket. But if you have an AP, or are planning on getting a park ticket for that day and then going to MVMCP on top of that? It's totally not worth the money.

That said, many things in life are worth doing even if they aren't worth the money... every now and then you have to splurge.

We have AP's but usually buy party tickets. I like the snow on Main Street, fireworks and parade. The lines for rides are really good too so we usually get all our rides in the one day. We don't do characters though.

I thought the ticket would be cheaper. It’s almost the price of a regular ticket even with the DVC discount. Are all of the rides open?

Thanks Carolyn. I think we will spend the money on the Candlelight Processional dinner package.

We went for the 1st time ever last year. I am glad we did it, as we'd regret if we had not done that during the Christmas season. But we'll not do it again. It is everything good that people have already posted about. But for us personally, it was SOOO crowded we felt as though we were packed in like sardines. Seriously. Be prepared for the crowds. We did the Candlelight Processional dinner package, and would do that again in a heartbeat. It was the highlight of the trip for us. Enjoy.

I am not a fan of dining packages, but for me it is a necessity for the Candlelight Processional.

I love the early November parties! But that’s on a Friday night, right? Any way you could switch to a Tuesday? Weeknights are usually less crowded, but that early in the season, it might not matter.

$104 per person??

Nope nope nope nope nope. I can't imagine what the mouse could provide in order for me to think that's a fair price. A very nice steak dinner and free drinks... maybe.
