But, wait....I thought that even make-believe versions of make-believe weapons are dangerous. Now they're not? I'm so confused.

No, that was just make-believe.

Unless they have water in them, then they really are dangerous and cannot be taken through security.

See? Perfectly simple really!

Much as I hate to defend TSA (although their social media folks are brilliant at clearing up Pre-Check issues not even cause by them, so props to them), I think that both the initial rule and the reversal make sense in the grand scheme. I can see how each happened and how each makes sense. Very little to see here.

As far as liquids, London are leading the way, from what I've read, about implementing technology to change that one.

Thanks for the update. Seems wine bottles may be a little ways off

And that's all I care about as we can leave 311 liquids in our bags in the US now.
