We enjoyed the ricotta appetizer. On our second visit it just wasn't as good. But i just today watched a review that makes me hope our second experience was a pandemic-related miss. thinking of adding this on our September trip now.

We went during high-pandemic, pre-vax times and things were definitely reduced. We still found things to be quite good, though.

Cheers.

I don't remember the name of the olive oil, but they sell it at Topolino's!

I googled it and found this in an article - "French Pain d’Epi Bread served with Reserve Jean Reno Black Fruity Olive Oil" (DVC Fan Welcome Home website). I can't vouch for the accuracy of this though.

It tastes so fresh, clean and true to what olive oil should taste like! There was no odd aftertaste or unpleasant mouth feel. The bread also had the perfect crust and soft doughy center AND it's served warm!!!

We were going to buy a bottle of the olive oil in May and forgot after dinner. Every time we thought we'd be able to head back to the Riviera by Skyliner or bus (since we couldn't drive our car in to the Riviera without a reservation!), our efforts were thwarted by timing. However, we are going back in September and are planning on making a reservation and buying the olive oil!

The other restaurant we tried for the first time was Jaleo's at Disney Springs. We are headed back there in September too!

Hope this info helps - I guess I'll quit rambling about food now!

We went to the Happy Hour at the Jaleo in Vegas. José Andrés sure knows his jamon!

Cheers.

If a response has a food association, it's not "off topic" as far as I'm concerned!

Thanks - I'll look for the show!

Jaleo is a favorite of ours.

I've looked at the Topolino's menu a few times. It's going to be hard to decide what to get.

The reviewers I saw ordered the scallops and the tortellini alla funghi.....both looked extremely good!
