Yes escalators count. Last time I looked at the Guinness book of records, it was listed as the safest form of transportation, with only one fatality out of untold billions of passengers.
And finally, I can't believe no one else has said it, so I guess I have to:

I have fond memories of Coronado Springs (the anniversary trip at business class purchase with DH & I was when we became MO @ AKL and on another snowbound/layover January trip when we were upgraded to a 1 BDRM suite).
I told CM we were DVC members and AP holders so we scored a 2 Bath/ 1 BDRM suite for less than $200/night ; pixie dust all around.
