In retrospect, seems pretty obvious, really.

Cheers.
Your "understanding" clearly comes from a "controlled substance"!
But strange things happen in movies....

Just back from seeing Frozen 2. Thought the story was good, and it was visually amazing! Would recommend seeing it in the theater for that reason, otherwise the score/songs were definitely not as good/ memorable as the first movie.

Question

Our movie weekend got delayed, so just finished Frozen 2. While it isn’t a typical “cutesy” Disney cartoon, it was really good! The music wasn’t quite as catchy as some of their other films. Overall, we all enjoyed it. I probably won’t see it again in theaters, but we will add it to our collection when Disney releases it on DVD.

I loved his version of the crosswalk/ cross dressed beauty and the beast. I fell out of my chair laughing at that one!

Finally got around to seeing it myself. I thought that it was pretty good for a sequel. The magic was still there, due in no small part to Christophe Beck's again-wonderful score. I found myself singing along (quietly) with songs I'd never heard before, and that's a very good sign!

But I am hoping for a court injunction against making a Frozen 3. Let's not ruin a good thing by over-milking it, as is Disney's wont. OK?!!?

Hear, Hear! Let’s call it successful and leave it at that.
