Just go to enjoy, not compare. Especially the music. My criticism is that there really isn't a song you will have in your head afterwards like several from the original.

And Disney is so good at songs that get stuck in your head...

Ha - you got me! Watched the James Corden Crosswalk Musical version of Frozen. Just love those. But its telling that the songs performed only had one from the new movie.

Very very true. What I always say with the live action remakes as well. Or Disneyland versus Disney World for that matter. So much better that way without feeling the need to declare a victor.

We liked it--4 adults and almost 4 yo Grandson. There were almost too many songs for the Grandson to sit thru, especially for his first movie in a theater, but he did pretty well overall. When the action picked up, his attention was held.

Did I miss something or did the flaming critter that looks a bit like Pascal not have a name?

Apparently his name is Bruni, though I donít remember them ever mentioning that.

Also I donít know which is cuter or I want more, a Bruni or a baby Yoda.

I feel the same way about Universal Studios too.
Except now I secretly love The Grinch more than Mickey Mouse...

My understanding is that there's going to be a Frozen/Star Wars tie-in. It seems that the Frozen saga takes place even before Star Wars Episode I (longer and longer ago, farther and farther away), when Yoda was young. And it seems, through some weird coincidence, that he's actually of the same species as Olaf. And the whole controlling the cold thing? You guessed it. The Force. Midi-chlorians off the scale...

In retrospect, seems pretty obvious, really.

Cheers.
