Default Frozen 2 Update

Some news from D23 re the Frozen 2 premiere (click on "news"). No doubt many of you have already seen it, as they sent it to me and I'm not a member!
The official premiere date is tomorrow but of course there are showings tonight. And... it is actually the same premiere date as Beauty and the Beast in 1991!

The news blurb doesn't say whether Christophe Beck composed the score again. I think it's absolutely crucial that he did ... we'll see!
Somewhat less crucial... in this same news release I see both "Frozen II" and "Frozen 2"! Come on Disney, which is it?!

We got our tickets for tomorrow night. Can't wait! So curious to see if they can catch lightning in a bottle one more time. We just watched again and that movie was really above and beyond. It's great from start to finish!

We saw it at the DVC advance screening last Sunday at Disney Springs. DH and I both enjoyed it very much. I will say it has a different feel to it than the original; a little more "grown up". Not really a specific song that stands out like in the original, but we would see it again (and probably will with family over Thanksgiving).

I saw it today and all I will say is:

I miss John Lasseter!

No spoilers. The story line was ok but there were many other aspects I didn't like, some vehemently.

If you're the type who stays through credits, I did enjoy a new credits category called "Caffeination". LOL

Netflix it is, provided that this ever makes it to DVD/Netflix. Definitely doesn't need a theatre.

Cheers.

Good movie, enjoyed it more than I thought it would. Doubt it has the same staying power as the first, which is just fine. Especially if the box office numbers perform somewhere around expectations.
