Iger's book was good but it's not very deep and fairly rosy. There are some good management anecdotes to learn from and some really good and poignant stories. His story of learning about Lane Grave's death from the alligator attack just as he was opening Disney Shanghai shows him at his most human and relatable. I finished with new respect for him and for the responsibilities of any CEO.

I'd welcome a really good bio of Walt. I have Neil Gabler's, but that's been criticized and wonder if there's another one that's honest but not negative.

An American Original. I forgot who wrote it but it's sold at Disney. Great book! I'm also reading Iger's book and really enjoying it. That part about the gator attack was hard to read. Terrific idea for a thread. Thanks, OP!

Yes, I liked this one. Itís much lighter in tone than some others.
