We travel to MCO 2X's a year and have always used a car service. Last few years have been with Happy Limo and Fl tours. The car service is usually $130ish + tip R/T depending on what resort you're heading to.

This November hubby and I are going to jump on the "Uber" band wagon and see how it goes!!

If I recall from their Trip Advisor and Yelp ratings, most of the car services mentioned here have top ratings, and most have similar pricing. You really shouldn't get a bad experience or be ripped off by choosing any of them. Easiest is to check out the customer service aspects of the top 2 or 3 recommendations and see which approach you like best (texting in advance, tip up front or at your discretion, etc.)

Or just walk. It's not all that far.

I can do that, if you carry my bags.

Happy to! I think I arrive an hour later than you, though, so just leave them by the side of the curb and I'll grab them on my way.

Sounds like a plan to me. I am sure no one will think it suspicious for luggage to be sitting on the curb, and they will all be just fine.

Thought Id revive this thread rather than start a new one. We are doing a split stay next month, WDW Dolphin/AKV Jambo. Since we are staying at Dolphin first, we wont be able to use ME from the airport. Im going to price the services mentioned. Does anyone have any other recommendations (not walking!)?

We have used Orlando Transportation by Mike. Recommended on another site. Has been reliable, personal and clean nice cars both times.

Another newbie question... When scheduling a pickup time, do we request the time our flight lands? Do we add time for the luggage to be available? Help!

When I've worked with airport pick-ups, they want you to use the flight time. They usually build in a grace period to account for luggage pickups. By using flight time, they can monitor and know what to expect.
