They’ll join forces with a resale broker that does not currently offer a point and confirmed reservation rental business all under one platform. I can guess who the broker may be...

A merger with Disney, hmmm. Would they form a new entity or would Disney continue to exist after the merger? David's Disney World kind of roles off the tongue nicely.

That's an interesting thought. They do have a great deal of brand recognition. Would do really well, especially with a low, low introductory commission rate (hint, hint).

And the broker's initials might be?

Davids is based in Canada. I don't think Disney would merge with them. I also don't see a resale business.
I am thinking personal tour/planning service since they are always "visiting" and seem to have an abundance of employees that love Disney. Kinda like concierge.

I would have to guess an increase in what they pay to owners who rent their points. David’s has been paying $0.50 per point less than their main competitor for quite some time now. And we all know that competition is good. Does anyone think that Pandora would exist if the Wizarding World of Harry Potter had never been constructed?

I got an email from them, announcing Disney cruise bookings. Not sure if this is the big announcement.

They would even apply the funds from your points rentals (through them) directly to your cruise fare (booked through them, of course). It seems like an easy, seamless transaction to have them handle everything from renting your points, to booking your cruise, to handling all the payments. I'm excited!

This was my thought too, especially with the wording, something magical on the horizon. I immediately pictured a cruise ship with the horizon in the background.
